According to the statistics about ethnic groups across the country, the Kinh make up 86,0% of the population, and the next respective largest groups are Tay, Thai, Muong, Khmer, Nung, Mong and Dao, which collectively account for about 10% of the total population [1]. The Muong ethnic group has the most concentrated population in Hoa Binh province, they are interspersed with Kinh and other ethnic groups, mainly in mountainous districts such as Mai Chau, Kim Boi, and Cao Phong,… Despite the support from the State's policies, the lives of a number of households in these regions still face many difficulties.
