The paper is to increase understanding of the determinants for adoption of e-commerce in SCM within the China manufacture industry, and to test the value of e-commerce in supply chain structure. This study proposes that there is a positive relationship between e-commerce and SCM and that firms with a seamless integration between e-commerce and SCM will be more successful. Content analysis of directorate's report in annual report to shareholders of 138 manufacture firms was conducted to collect data.
