A Joint Power Control Scheme with Game Theory, Waveform Adaptation and Multiuser Detection
In the paper, we combine waveform adaptation with multi-user detection to propose a new game-theoretic power control algorithm, which both the transmitter signature waveforms and receiver filter coefficients for all users are sequentially updated in a distributed way. We show that the proposed algorithm converges to a fixed-point power vector where the information rate for each of the users is maximized, the transmitter signature waveforms converge to be orthogonal waveforms that the interferences between users are minimized and the receiver filter converges to the minimum mean squared error (MMSE) multiuser detector. Moreover, the simulation results show that the new power control scheme outperforms the game model in [4] in terms of the maximum of SINR or the net information rate obtained on condition that total transmitted power is given.
