Therefore, participating in an evolutionary process, it is believed that the subjects inserted in such a society had their lifestyles modified, due to the economic, social, political and cultural alterations pointed out by globalization. Faced with this reality, in the case of education, a question arises: has the role/attitude of the teacher changed? So, in order to reflect on the context and the aforementioned problem, this study takes an exploratory approach, of a bibliographical nature, on the current educational situation, discussing the attitude of the teacher in contemporary times, which includes a new way of teaching and learning. . Taking into account all the reflections raised in this work, it is clear that the role/attitude of the teacher has changed, since the target audience requires the reformulation of methods, techniques, instruments and resources, from the teacher-linguistic interaction student, to the use of new technologies. This new way of teaching and learning is the result of the style of new students, who are not motivated by the traditional exposure of content.
