The focus of the analysis in this study is the written work of students and the results of interviews based on the results of work as reinforcement and confirmation of the achievement or acquisition related to the volume of cubes and blocks. The research objective was to describe the understanding of the concept of volume building space in Grade 5st SD Inpres 5 Birobuli through realistic mathematics learning. The results showed that realistic mathematics learning can motivate students to construct their understanding of the concept of volume building space by carrying out a directed problem-solving process so as to find pleasant mathematical concepts in achieving non-learning goals. This can be seen from the results of the analysis of students' conceptual understanding of the achievement of completing the freetest questions.
