Study on Blended Teaching for “Outline of China’s Modern History” Based on Chaoxing Platform

The integration of Internet information technology into education teaching leads to the fact that online and offline hybrid teaching has become an important trend in the informatization development in curriculum and teaching. For application-oriented colleges and universities, how to apply blended course teaching to the design of each teaching link so that students can learn independently, and how to improve the teaching quality will be particularly critical. Taking the course “Outline of China’s Modern History” as an example, this paper combined the characteristics of talent cultivation in application-oriented colleges and universities, while starting from the concept of result-oriented education, based on the construction of the MOOC platforms and school-based teaching resources. Such a teaching model could fully reflect the combination of process assessment and summative assessment, the unification of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis in teaching evaluation, the coordination of subjective evaluation and object evaluation regarding teaching quality in blended learning, and the specific implementation plan for both the subjective evaluation and the object evaluation of teaching quality.
