Hence, the IP-based mobile protocols proposed by IETF can't be extended to LEO satellite networks directly. In this paper, we analyze and compare MIPv6 (Mobile Ipv6) and FMIPv6 (Fast Mobile IPv6) with the handover prediction and buffering mechanisms in LEO satel-lite network. The handover model of LEO satellite networks is built and the performance of MIPv6 and FMIPv6 is analyzed and in terms of handover latency, packet loss and forwarding cost. The numerical results indicate that FMIPv6 outperforms MIPv6 in terms of handover latency and packet loss by em-ploying handover prediction and forwarding mechanisms, but FMIPv6 will cause the forwarding cost. 地面网络不同于LEO(近地轨道)卫星网络,具有频繁的切换和更大的传播距离。因此,IETF提出的基于ip的移动协议不能直接扩展到LEO卫星网络。本文分析比较了LEO卫星卫星网络中MIPv6 (Mobile Ipv6)和FMIPv6 (Fast Mobile Ipv6)的切换预测和缓冲机制。建立了LEO卫星网络的切换模型,分析了MIPv6和FMIPv6的切换延迟、丢包和转发成本等性能。数值结果表明,FMIPv6通过使用切换预测和转发机制,在切换延迟和丢包方面优于MIPv6,但FMIPv6会造成转发开销。此外,将成本和各自的利润与本文所讨论的性能标准进行一定的权衡相结合,我们可以得到一个理想的移动性管理协议。
