The start-up of powerful electric motors has a profound effect on the reliability of electromechanical equipment and creates additional economic risks for the enterprise. It is for powerful electric motors that the decision to use a soft starter needs a deep economic justification, since such engine operate in a long mode, and the initial cost of a soft starter is high.
