This paper discusses the goal and scope of the study, key methodological issues, key findings, and policy implications of these pilot studies. Through the integration of advanced impact assessment techniques, the study provides a benchmark for similar studies including those of the western area power authority and suggests counterintuitive results for wind power and coal technology operations.
