The act of sadfishing has an impact on the mental health of the perpetrators, including children and adolescents. Lots of Sadfishing content seems to be a common reaction for someone who is going through a difficult time or pretending to be having a difficult time to get viral on social media. This study aims to explain how  to  digital literacy for social media users can change public opinion in limiting themselves from the sadfishing phenomenon on social media. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, with a case study method and data collection techniques by interviewing several high school students and university students in Jakarta. 摘要

“悲伤钓鱼”现象在印尼社交媒体用户中形成了一种新趋势,每个用户似乎都急于在社交媒体上表现出自己的悲伤,以引起许多人的同情。悲伤钓鱼行为对包括儿童和青少年在内的犯罪者的心理健康产生影响。对于那些正在经历一段困难时期或假装很难在社交媒体上走红的人来说,很多悲伤的内容似乎是一种常见的反应。本研究旨在解释社交媒体用户的数字素养如何在限制自己在社交媒体上的悲伤捕鱼现象中改变公众舆论。所使用的研究类型是描述性定性的,采用案例研究法和数据收集技术,通过采访雅加达的几名高中生和大学生。研究结果发现,受众处于The Dominant-Hegemonic position的位置,或者受众处于接受数字素养能够教育和改变社交媒体用户的观点的位置,尤其是在青少年中,以避免社交媒体上引发悲伤的现象。
