ENTRE DESGRANGES E BOURDIEU: UM OLHAR PARA A ARTE COMO LINGUAGEM NA ESCOLA

Neste artigo, apresentamos alguns dos elementos que caracterizam a Arte como linguagem, bem como a importância de sua presença na Educação na perspectiva de sua capacidade de abrangência para problematizar a realidade, possibilitando novas formas de ver e compreender o mundo em toda sua diversidade e complexidade. Trata-se de um recorte do Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso “Arte no PIBID UFV: Área de conhecimento, ferramenta ou Arte pela Arte?”, realizado no Curso de Dança da Universidade Federal de Viçosa. A pesquisa buscou delimitar as produções bibliográficas relacionadas com a área de Arte na busca de observar o tratamento e visão presente nos textos a respeito da profissionalização docente para a atuação na Arte e na Educação presente nas instituições de Ensino Básico de Viçosa-MG, no Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência da Universidade Federal de Viçosa, entre os anos de 2011 até 2017. Tendo como objeto de estudo a Arte no projeto institucional no referido programa, o problema da pesquisa diz respeito a forma como a Arte é abordada na produção bibliográfica desenvolvida no mesmo, o que envolve o questionamento a respeito da Arte como área de conhecimento, como ferramenta de ensino para outras disciplinas, ou ainda como Arte pela Arte, em seus princípios técnicos e estéticos. De natureza qualitativa, a pesquisa constitui-se como um estudo de caso múltiplo e coletivo numa abordagem materialista histórica dialética, por meio da análise de conteúdo na exploração dos dados. BETWEEN DESGRANGES AND BOURDIEU: A VIEW TO ART AS LANGUAGE IN SCHOOL ABSTRACT In this paper, we present some of the elements that characterize Art as language, as well as the importance of its presence in Education in the perspective of its capacity of comprehensiveness to problematize reality, making possible new ways of seeing and comprehending the world in all its diversity and complexity. This is part of the Final Paper "Art in PIBID UFV: Area of study, tool or Art for Art's sake?”, carried out at the Dance Course of the Federal University of Viçosa. The research sought to delimit the bibliographic productions related to the Art studies in order to observe the treatment and vision present in texts about the teacher professionalization to work with Art and Education in the Basic Teaching institutions of Viçosa-MG, in the Institutional Program of Teaching Initiation Scholarship (PIBID) of Federal University of Viçosa, in the years of 2011 to 2017. Art in the institutional project in the referred program is the object of this study and the research problem is about the way that Art is approached in the bibliographic production developed, which involves the question about Art as an area of knowledge, as a teaching tool for others subjects, or still art for art’s sake, in its technical and aesthetic principles. From a qualitative perspective, the research is constituted as a multiple and collective case study in a dialectical historical materialist approach, through content analysis in the data exploration.
