The study of signal transmission in toads' forelimbs
The tests of meridians and acupoints have been studied for rabbits, goats, pigs and other animals by domestic and foreign meridian researchers. This paper describes a series of experiments in toads to study meridian phenomenon in vivo. The method based on electrical network theories using a high amplitude pulse tests dynamically the voltage signal transmission characteristics of different ports in the forelimbs of toads by three-dimensional scanning. We have preliminarily tracked out three “meridian channels” in the forelimb according to tracks of maximum transmission coefficient.
