A K-band push-push oscillator using dielectric resonator
A push-push oscillator using dielectric resonator (DR) is presented. The push-push oscillator consists of two identical amplifiers, microstrip lines, one slot line and one DR. The TE01ä mode is dominant for the resonation in the DR at the fundamental frequency. Simplified structure is realized. The measured output power of the desired second harmonic signal (2f0) is 0 dBm at the frequency of 20.25 GHz. The measured phase noise performance at 20.25 GHz is −102.3 dBc/Hz at an offset frequency of 1 MHz.
