In fact, some students have difficulty in learning English. This study aims to describe the factors affect students’ difficulties in learning English. The subjects of the study were 30 students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program at Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. This study applied a qualitative descriptive research with a questionnaire and observation instruments. The data analysis of this study used interview, observation, documentation and triangulation. 摘要

英语是小学到大学阶段学生的必修课之一。事实上,有些学生在学习英语方面有困难。本研究旨在描述影响学生英语学习困难的因素。这项研究的对象是苏门答腊北部伊斯兰大学伊斯兰教教师教育研究项目的30名学生。本研究采用定性描述性研究,采用问卷调查法和观察法。本研究的数据分析采用访谈法、观察法、文献法和三角法。研究人员发现,英语学习中存在两种困难因素,特别是内部因素和外部因素,包括1)学生的学习动机低;2)缺乏对学习英语重要性的认识(3)缺乏学习英语的机会(4)缺乏环境支持,如父母、朋友等。关键词:学习困难,英语学习困难的因素
