The case in hand reports a 29 yrs. old lady with pelvic inflammatory disease who suffered from bothering irritative lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) ten days after removing an intrauterine contraceptive device. Urine culture recovered the rare bacterium of Raoultella ornithinolytica.
