Electric Drive of Small-Sized Soil-Cultivating Motoblock
The purpose of the study was to estimate the type of the electric drive of the motoblock, to determine its power, as well as to conduct field tests. The paper compares the properties of direct (DC) and alternating (AC) motors. For further consideration, a DC motor of consecutive excitation is proposed. The method of rated power determination and selection of a traction engine in the motoblock with the centralized power supply is proposed. As a result of analytical researches the useful power value of the engine as a function of speed of motoblock movement and type of soil (1-3 kW) is defined. Using the direct experiment method electrified motoblock tests are carried out. During the experiment, the tillage depth varied from 12 to 26 cm, while the armature current of the motor varied in the range (0.35… 0.8) Inom. The mechanical characteristics of engine at different values of processing depth and angular velocities are also obtained. The value of engine power was in the range from 0.8 kW to 1.5 kW. Field test results of the motoblock are presented.
