Total 375 university students took part in this study. The results show that most of the participants have used Facebook for 7 to 9 years, and spent time on Facebook 1 to 2 hours every day. The self-presentation on Facebook and each type of social capital were rated as moderate level among these participants. Pearson Correlation analysis revealed that self-presentation on Facebook has a significant relationship with bridging and bonding social capital. This study provides a better understanding among university students in Kuala Lumpur campus on how these students engage in strategies of self-presentation on Facebook.
