Engineering training is an important practice to cultivate students' engineering ability in Colleges and universities. In this paper, the concept of product PLM and MES are applied to the practical teaching activities of engineering training. Taking the project as the carrier, the workflow based on Windchill platform as the drive, and the students as the main body, a set of reforms are established in engineering training. First, it was implemented product data management platform to manage the whole engineering data during education process. Second, an equipment management system and warehouse management software are established, which not only enables students to combine knowledge with practical application, but also improves the efficiency level of information management. Meanwhile, environmental management system, occupational health and safety management system commonly used in enterprises are deeply integrated with engineering training and teaching activities.
