In this paper, we present the method for building a synthesizer of Vietnamese with unlimited vocabulary. Vietnamese is a tonal language with six different tones. A database with non-tonal Vietnamese diphones was built and the Vietnamese words with or without tone will be synthesized. This helped us reduce the size of database.
