Digital measurements and the scanning system of re- search models were first used in the 80s of the XX century. Accurate analyzes and measurements are very important criteria in orthodontics. Therefore, digital measures have brought innovation in the way of taking the measure, en- abling the replacement of conventional methods. For this, various authors have done a lot of research to show the ac- curacy of using the scanning of digital measures through intraoral scanners, greatly facilitating the practical work.
