Three areas of its level – online services, telecommunication infrastructure and human capital - have been summarized into a single index called E-government Development Index (EGDI). The main objective of this research was to provide an overview of the current status of the Visegrad Group (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) in EGDI development and compare the level of this index.
