Four Web-based distant learning modules are described and a brief summary of their submodules is given. These Web-based modules are a \"CADENCE design software\" module in English, an interactive module \"digital IC design using SYNOPSYS\" in English, an interactive module \"digital IC design using SYNOPSYS\" in Bulgarian and an \"analog IC design\" module. The methods and core skills that should be trained in Web-based courses are defined in the paper. The concept of the realization of Web-based training courses is explained. Distant learning experience in microelectronics CAD tools
