A robust controller is developed using a nonlinear IP controller. The controller nonlinear characteristic is obtained due to fuzzy logic technique application. An original method of controller settings adjustment is presented. The use of this adjustment procedure ensures robust speed control against the variations of the moment of inertia and a step change of load torque.
