Experimental Research One Group Pretest – Posttest Design. Cluster Random Sampling as 20 higher vocational certificate students Nakhon Si Thammarat Technical College. These students were enrolled in the 30100-0104 “Pneumatics and Hydraulics” Course. The research instruments consisted of: 1 ) lesson plan, 2) questionnaire to get theopinions of specialists and teachers on the quality of the teaching model by using Research-Based Learning, 3 ) achievement test, and4 ) student opinion questionnaires. The research statistics included descriptive statistics and t-test dependence. The developed instruction set was validated for the quality by the specialist’s befor eimplementing with the sampling groups. The students did the pretest, completed the exercise, did the quizzes, and completed the worksheet of every unit. After that, the students did the achievement test, worksheet, and joined the practice test. All the scores including ethic scores were analyzed to find the effectiveness of the teaching model by using Research-Based Learning. Finally, the students were asked to report their opinion on this teaching model by using Research-Based Learning. The results can be concluded as follows. The specialists reported the quality of the lesson plan at highest level and high level. The efficiency of the teaching model in Subject Pneumatics and Hydraulics by using Research-Based Learning is 82.63/80.29 higher than the set criteria at 80/80. The learning achievement of the students through the teaching model in Subject Pneumatics and Hydraulics by using Research-Based Learning set was 0.5576 or 55.76%. The results of the difference between the pretest and the posttest scores of the students analyzed by the t-test revealed that the students achieved higher scores at the significant level of 0.05.
