Such an inclination towards this area is because of its high power handling capability as well as improved power quality. Low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and less thermal Stress on Switches and improved performance are its added advantages. Switching strategies plays a very important role in optimizing inverter performance parameters. In this paper a novel multicarrier sine Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Phase Disposition technique is introduced which significantly reduces THD.
