The current research aims to identify the perfectionism and Role perception among university students, as well as to identify the significance of differences according to gender (males - females), as well as the correlation between the two variables, and in order to verify this, the researchers adopted the Flett & Hewitt perfectionism scale, 1991 Expressed on the Iraqi environment by (Al-Naqshabandi 2010) and adapted to Baghdad University students by (Hindi, 2020). The scale consisted of (27) items in its final form, and they adopted the role perception scale prepared by (Mohsen 2018), as the scale consisted of (28) Paragraph in its final form, and their psychometric properties were confirmed and the two tools were applied to a sample of (180) male and female students who were selected by stratified random method from four colleges at the University of Baghdad: (College of Political Science, College of Arts, College of Engineering, and College of Science). , for the academic year 2020-2021, and the results of the research showed the following: 1. The research sample of university students has no perfectionism. 2. There are no statistically significant differences between (males and females) in the perfectionism . 3. The members of the research sample of university students have an Role perception. 4. There are no statistically significant differences between (males and females) in the Role perception. 5. The results of the statistical analysis showed the existence of a significant correlation between the perfectionism and Role perception among university students.
