The temporal sample espoused here is merely indicative of the phase in which the defence of cinema as an auxiliary resource for teaching became current in Brazilian society, but should not be viewed as a strict chronological delimitation of a period. The description of the discourse investigated concentrates on the crossover with the modality of discourse politics.
