摘要
近年来,随着技术的发展,GIS (geographic Information System,地理信息系统)的潜力和应用价值在各个领域得到了体现。GIS在数据处理和图形显示方面表现良好,但在模型库等抽象程度较高的领域还存在不足。本文提出了一个基于XML (Extensible Markup Language,可扩展标记语言)的模型库,并详细描述了它的描述和实现。该模型库具有良好的封装性、可扩展性和开放性,能够很好地满足地理系统的需求。
XML-based model libraries application in Geographic Information System
