This condition implies a consequent increase in the scale of production, use and disposal of both insulin analogues and analogues thereof as well as the population of industrial effluents. It is necessary to examine the existence of risk of environmental toxicity of these compounds, their structures or arising from the detachment of the zinc contained in the formulation.
