In this paper firstly we are solving the modified Reynolds equation for Newtonian and couple stress fluid using finite difference method. In this paper, we evaluate the bearing force, stiffness and damping coefficient, the non-dimensional critical mass, Threshold, and whirl frequency ratio for various couple stress parameter and various eccentricity ratios.
