Hasil kajian menunjukkan aksesbilitas dan konektivitas jaringan jalan belum mendukung mobilitas angkutan barang dan penyelenggaraan angkutan barang belum terselenggara secara efektif dan efisien sehingga diperlukan upaya-upaya menciptakan penyelenggaraan angkutan barang yang efektif dan efisien melalui penetapan jaringan lintas angkutan barang dan terjalinnya kerjasama antar pemangku kepentingan (stakeholder) di bidang penyelenggaraan angkutan barang. Disarankan dalam penetapan jaringan lintas angkutan barang dilakukan peningkatan daya dukung jalan dan jembatan, perencanaan geometrik jalan, kecukupan ruang bebas atas, pemenuhan fasilitas perlengkapan jalan, dan terkoneksi dengan pembangunan terminal barang.Kata Kunci : Efektif dan efisien, Penyelenggaraan angkutan barangABSTRACTThis paper aims to analyze the accessibility and connectivity of the road network, the implementation of freight transportation and efforts to create an effective and efficient implementation of freight transportation in Langkat Regency. The results of the study showed that the accessibility and connectivity of the road network has not supported the mobility of freight transportation and the implementation of freight transportation has not been carried out effectively and efficiently so that efforts are needed to create effective and efficient transportation through the establishment of a cross-freight network and the establishment of cooperation between stakeholders in the field of transportation of goods.
