Therefore, based on the content of the study program, examples and exercises with simulations were developed for each section of the proposed manual. Such sections are: Perceptron, Linear, Multilayer, Self-organized, Recurrent and Radial Base Function. In addition, vectors and matrices operations were introduced to understand the processing of the neural network, and the representation of the activation functions for the process of inhibition and excitation. Likewise, the examples and exercises followed a similar scheme; first the choice of the characteristics of the neural network used, followed by the training process, and ending with the test and verification.
