Mobile applications dynamic content management server (CMS)
With the fast evolution and advancement of smart mobile phones and their ecosystems, their software applications availability grew at an exponential rate. Nowadays, mobile software applications are widely available as preloaded, embedded and online where they may be easily downloaded by users. One of the biggest challenges for mobile networks operators and mobile devices manufacturers is how to deal with constantly changing content of the third party providers. Typically, content is hardcoded within the software application and updating the content may require in some cases flashing the devices using special tools that may not be easily available to end users. In addition, services activation or de-activation may be needed due to operators' restriction or country special regulatory measures. As such, this paper proposes a solution to deal with such issue by making use of a server that provides dynamic management of mobile applications content, resources and service activation or deactivation as needed.
