One of the marine biotas that is endemic in the Kepulauan Riau Province is the “gonggong” snail (Laevistrombus sp.) which one of the tourism and culinary icon of the Riau Islands. Endemic and endangered marine biota have a very important role in the ecosystem. The purpose of community service to provide education and introduction to endemic and endangered marine biota in the Riau Archipelago, especially for SMA Negeri 3 Batam students. Community service activities were carried out in several stages, namely preparation, pre test, presentation of material using power point and video media, quiz competitions, and post test. Based on the average correct and incorrect answers in the pre and post test, it was a significant increase in the average correct answer of students (48% to 68%), the average number of students' incorrect answers (52% to 32%). 摘要
廖内群岛是印尼海洋生物多样性较高的省份之一。“gonggong”蜗牛(Laevistrombus sp.)是廖内省Kepulauan廖内省特有的海洋生物之一,是廖内岛旅游和烹饪的标志之一。特有和濒危的海洋生物群在生态系统中具有非常重要的作用。社区服务的目的是提供教育和介绍廖内群岛特有和濒危的海洋生物,特别是针对SMA Negeri 3 Batam学生。社区服务活动分几个阶段进行,即准备、前测、使用幻灯片和视频媒体展示材料、智力竞赛和后测。从前后测试的平均正确答案和错误答案来看,学生的平均正确答案从48%增加到68%,学生的平均错误答案从52%增加到32%。通过讲座、测验和书本学习等方式,有效地开展了廖内群岛特有和濒危海洋生物的教育和介绍,增加了学生的知识。
