The Italian national strategy for inland areas includes, among the objectives aimed at development promotion, the enhancement of agricultural systems through the establishment of partnerships capable of guaranteeing close cooperation between primary production, processing and marketing and the activation of renewable energy supply chains. In this context, the present work aims to investigate whether the network of companies may constitute an effective tool of entrepreneurial collaboration for the enhancement of natural and human capital in internal territories, with distinctive respect to their potential, criticality and prospects in the silvicultural sector
