Noting that the graduates of this sector will cause additional pressure on the labor market, The research aims to identify the efficiency of the outputs of universities and colleges (governmental and private) qualitative and quantitative, according to the needs of the Iraqi labor market. Among the most important conclusions reached by the researcher, the private university education absorbed the surplus of students who did not enroll in public universities and not the distinguished among them, as the acceptance rates in the scientific, engineering and even humanitarian departments in the colleges investigated were low compared to their counterparts in government colleges.
