Sakati","doi":"10.51888/jpmeo.v1i2.155","DOIUrl":null,"url":null,"abstract":"Status gizi merupakan keadaan yang ditentukan oleh derajat kebutuhan fisik terhadap energi dan zat-zat gizi yang diperoleh dari asupan makanan yang dampak fisiknya dapat diukur. Status gizi dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kecerdasan dan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menangkap pelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara status gizi dengan indeks prestasi mahasiswa Universitas Tompotika Luwuk Banggai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa aktif Universitas Tompotika Luwuk Banggai tahun ajaran genap 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 1.876.Teknik pemilihan sampel dengan cara Purposive Sampling dan jumlah sampel sebesar 164 mahasiswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian adalah pengukuran (berat badan dan tinggi badan) k emudian dihitung Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dan dokumenter (pengumpulan rata -rata nilai IPK). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Fisher exact test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kategori status sangat kurus dan gemuk masing-masing sebanyak 8 mahasiswa (4,9%), kurus sebanyak 21 mahasiswa (12,8%), normal sebanyak 118 mahasiswa (71,9%) dan obesitas 9 mahasiswa (5,5%). Mahasiswa yang mendapatkan nilai indeks prestasi tinggi sebanyak 143 mahasiswa (87,2%) dan nilai rendah sebanyak 21 mahasiswa (12,8%). B erdasarkan uji Fisher exact test di dapatkan nilai p-value = 0,488 > 0,05 sehingga tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan indeks prestasi kumulatif mahasiswa. Saran bagi penelitian selanjutnya dapat menggunakan desain case control dengan jumlah sampel yang sesuai pada kelompok kasus dan kontrol serta memberikan batasan waktu studi pada mahasiswa yang menjadi sampel penelitian.\nNutritional status is a condition that is determined by the level of physical need for energy and nutrients obtained from food intake where the physical impact can be measured. Nutritional status can affect the students' level of intelligence and ability to collect lessons. The purpose of this research was to determine the correlation between nutritional status and achievement index of the Tompotika Luwuk Banggai University's students. This type of research is descriptive analysis. The population of this research were all active students at Tompotika Luwuk Banggai University by the academic year 2021/2022 which are 1,876 students. The sample selection technique was by purposive sampling and the sample were 164 students. The instruments in this research were including measurements (weight and height) then calculating the Body Mass Index (BMI) and documentaries (collecting the students' average GPA score). The data analyzing method was using Fisher's exact test. The results of this research showed that the status categories were underweight and obese which were 8 students (4.9%), underweight were 21 students (12.8%), normal were 118 students (71.9%) and obese were 9 students (5 .5%). Students who got high-grade point average scores were 143 students (87.2%) and low scores were 21 students (12.8%). Based on the Fisher exact test, the p -value = 0.488 > 0.05 so there is no significant correlation between nutritional status and student achievement index . Hubungan Status Gizi Dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif Mahasiswa Universitas Tompotika Luwuk Banggai
