First, a class D topology with a resonant circuit is used to form a resonant inverter. Moreover, a microcontroller is employed to act as the control core of the system to achieve soft start, burst dimming, and primary-side control feature. In addition, the proposed controller is incorporated with the resonant inverter to enhance the stabilization of the preset lamp current.
