A psychophysical evaluation experiment was conducted to examine the effects of various illumination settings on preference for the lighting room depending on 5 specific activities. The various illumination setting were characterized by 3 levels of correlated color temperature (CCT) of main light, 3 levels of illumination of main light and 7 colors of upper light. The results showed that people preferred different illuminance settings depending on the activities.
