ON THE POTENTIAL OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY IN THE CONTEXT OF FORESIGHT OF ECONOMIC METHODOLOGY AND THEORY

The article is devoted to the issues of one of the leading drivers of global trends — digitalization. Based on the correspondence of the development of the digital economy to the provisions of the system theory and the theory of cycles of N. Kondratiev, the conceptual foundations of the digital economy, emerging theoretical myths are shown, historical paradigms in the context of information technology are highlighted. The most significant features of the development of the digital economy are considered: the level of trust, the change of reality by jokers, the study and prediction of trends and weak signals.
