In terms of students' basic situations, cognition and selection of information sources, information query and acquisition, information management and application, information ethics and safety, and suggestions and opinions, the current situations of information literacy of the students from 65 universities in China are investigated. Based on the investigation and statistical analysis, this paper provides a comprehensive understanding of the current situations of information literacy education of college students.
