Study results indicate that the prevalence of extrinsic motivation among students is more than internal, and extrinsic motivation, applied by parents is the stronger feature for the students of Kazakhstan, which could influence their decision-making ability11This research was supported by the Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan in the framework of the “Big Data in Education-2020” project, carried out in cooperation with the Center for Applied Policy and Integrity.
