The focus of the research is based on national strategic documents and responds to changes in the organizational structures of units valid from the 1st of January 2020. The aim of the article is to assess the new structures compared to the original ones in the number and possibilities of engineering units and means usable to support movement. Based on the findings, the authors present possible solutions to remedy the current situation.
