Temperature control of a finite diffusive interface medium applying CRONE second generation
This paper proposes a method to control temperature over a finite diffusive interface using the CRONE controller. The second generation was chosen to be implemented in this paper as the plant model showed a constant phase margin when changing the metal constituting the diffusive interface media. As a result, an a posteriori synthesis method was established in order to control temperature at certain functional points of the homogeneous finite diffusive interface bar while controlling the density of flux at the input boundary of this medium. Results show that the CRONE controller is robust when changing the material. As for the placement of the temperature sensor, the use of the third generation CRONE control would give better robustness.
