The interaction of quality variation and manufacturing system components performances are analyzed. On the basis of the intension of manufacturing process product reliability and the realization that the reason of product reliability degradation is quality variation, the influence models of deviation in key product characteristics which can be detected (KPC) and implicit product characteristics which are not detectable (IPC) to product reliability are established respectively. A mathematic model combining with the influence of KPC deviation and IPC deviation on product reliability is proposed to illustrate manufacturing process reliability degradation mechanism.
