The paper is focused on the influence of Internet and broadband services’ penetration to the adoption of e-learning. Therefore, the investigation of the existence of correlation between broadband penetration rate and broadband use for e-learning is the main purpose of the paper. The broadband use was comprehensively studied, respecting population density and household income. Similarly the Internet use was investigated respecting education level and age. Particularly, as far as education is concerned, Internet use for education and training purposes was studied respecting formal education activities, e-learning, and the educational use of Internet at places of education and at enterprises for the education and training of their employees.
