In these multimedia applications, video and audio are stored, transmitted, and presented. During presentation time, the temporal relationships between audio and video have to be preserved in order to offer the best perceptual quality. The proposed method is aimed at achieving a good audio video synchronization and compression in which audio data will be embedded into video data at the encoder and then audio and video will be compressed simultaneously. This method will not require a separate channel to send audio hence will reduce the amount of data to be sent.
