CCAA structure is chosen, because it has the ability to scan the signal from 00 to 3600. Different direction of arrival (DOA) estimation techniques are proposed to analyze the performance of CCAA structure in this paper. This paper first compares the performance of CCAA beamformer with Uniform Circular Array (UCA) using Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC), Minimum Variance Distortion less Response (MVDR) and Beamscan DOA estimation techniques. It is observed that MUSIC algorithm offers better performance for CCAA structure. It is also observed that there is subtle mismatch occurs between actual signal direction and estimated signal direction obtaining from DOA techniques. The performance of beamformer degrades if the actual signal direction is not exactly same with estimated direction.
