In order to prevent PSO method from getting stuck at a local optimum, we improve the traditional PSO method by using inertia weight factor. The amplitude of each antenna element could be obtained by the proposed PSO method efficiently. To demonstrate the effectiveness of this method, the circular conformal antenna array is considered.
