Research on Information Literacy Education of University Libraries in the Era of Big Data

The era of big data has come. The collection, processing and analysis of massive data have become the main content of information literacy education. University libraries have an irreplaceable position and role in cultivating college students' information literacy. This paper introduces the background of the era of big data and analyzes the relationship between the university libraries and information literacy. This research also systematically expounds the necessity and value of the education on information literacy for college students. This paper also analyzes the main problems of information literacy education and proposes the strategy of improving information literacy education.
